My goodness! Now some people (notably Vera Wang) aren't showing at Fashion Week in New York because they're saying it's too "hectic."

(Which is sort of like saying, "There are just too many pesky, excited customers interested in my products!") Hey, but what do we know? Very little, my friends; very little.

We do know the fashion week schedules of events will begin February 6, beginning with New York, and lasting around 4 weeks, then move to London, Milan and finally Paris. Assuming any designers show up.

But we kid. Not to put too fine a point on it, or to be rude, but you know how that asteroid came and killed all the dinosaurs, and then the little mouse-type things became wooly mammoths, or something? (It's okay; we weren't really paying attention either.) Well, maybe it's kind of like that. Not that established designers are "dinosaurs," because that's not accurate and would be just plan rude, BUT the idea being that young, energetic creatures are always looking for an opening; and when larger creatures give breathing room for whatever reason, you can bet there are plenty of small-fry around who will take advantage of the lull.

And, overall, this is a good thing.

Hm, what's the point? (Did we have one?)

Oh yes. Some designers are shying away from the traditional notion of what "fashion week" is. And maybe, in the end, people don't care that much about fashion week, the live streams will stop, and sites like this one can cease to exist. And we-who-run-this-site can go back to, maybe, what we did best: temp jobs, writing songs, petting cats, daydreaming, etc.

Hey, that wouldn't be the end of the world.

And then the fashion shows can become exclusive, intimate events again. And believe me, if you're being invited to these super-exclusive shows of the past and maybe the future, you probably have something great going on. And you'll probably super-enjoy going to those shows.

Okay, we lost our train of thought again.

Oh yeah! So maybe "fashion week for the public" will die. And interest has been just a fad.

This, too, is possible.

But in the meantime, please feel free to look forward to Fashion Week in February. Whilst watching, you can keep your eyes peeled for "runway superstars" like Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevingne, Jourdan Dunn and Edie Campbell, who recently won Model of the Year at the British Fashion Awards. Or super-editors like Anna Wintour. Or super-buyers like Linda Fargo.

And there may be "regular celebrities" like Taylor Swift and whatnot.

Well, that's about it. We had a pretty busy day, and are going to have a little rest now.

We've got the dates for the "Big 4" fashion weeks right here: yep, that means New York (which will be Feb. 6 - 13, 2014), London (Feb. 14 - 18, 2014), Milan (Feb. 18 - 23, 2014), and Paris (Feb. 25 - March 5, 2014).

Man, it's frustrating. So many fashionable sites out there, and you still can't find what you're looking for: The dates for the main fashion weeks of 2014!

But wait, they were right above! How wonderful.

So how did we find these wonderful dates for the upcoming Fall / Winter season? Simple! We put on a fake beard and a robe with moons and stars on it, and gazed into our crystal ball like some sort of wizard of fashion week.

But wait! Here's a picture of Cara DeLevingne as Hermione Granger, to help clarify many things about life, maybe.

Did you know, for example, that CaraDeLevinge is a model, and that's she's supposed to be the "new Kate Moss," and that she's huge on the "party circuit?" You did?? Oh well.

Anyway, the point we're trying to make here is that parties are cool, supermodel-type-people are cool, and fashion is cool. Okay, maybe not as cool as Harry Potter, but that's no excuse for something or another, we kind of lost our train of thought there, to be honest.

Hey, anyone like The Rolling Stones? We don't, but we heard Mick Jagger's daughters are also models, so we thought we'd throw that in here: one is called Elizabeth Jagger (or "Lizzie," like a lizard sort of; anyway, that makes it easy to remember), and the other is called Georgia Jagger, like the Southern US state, or maybe that place in Russia that's probably pretty cold, we bet.

But you came here for the dates for the big fashion weeks: New York Fashion Week, London Fashion Week, Milan and Paris Fashion Week!

But you have them now, and to be honest we're hungry and don't want to keep writing anymore.

So to recap , as you can see, these wonderful events take place at certain days and times, which you can find above, so you can stop web-surfing, scratching your head, and get on with your wonderful life.

Speaking of which, our cat is bored because we're not petting her and we need to get some breakfast.

Add these dates to your iPhone, iPad, or paper (paper??) calendar and have fun watching all the exciting runway shows online!

(The Wizard of Fashion Week ... wait, you didn't know??)

(And why did we do this? We're not sure!)

Spring summer, winter or fall, all you have to do is call!
